Fr. Robert Miclean

Fr. Robert MicleanFather Robert Miclean, M.Div., M.A., B.A., is full-time College Minister for St. John’s College and the U.S. Naval Academy chapters of the OCF (Orthodox Christian Fellowship), the nation-wide pan-Orthodox college ministry. From 2002-June 2005, he served under Fr. Gregory Mathewes-Green as Pastoral Assistant for College and Youth Ministries at Holy Cross Orthodox Church in Linthicum, MD, where he built up a new youth ministry for 25 Middle School and High School teens and pioneered discipleship groups, a small-group mentoring ministry for Orthodox teens. During that time, he also began an outreach ministry to students in the area, working with those students to start two new OCF ministries in Annapolis.

Fr. Robert was ordained to the priesthood in 2010 by His Beatitude, Metropolitan JONAH, at St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral (OCA) in Washington, D.C.  In addition to serving as advisor to the Annapolis campuses and mentoring college students he is also the priest-in-charge of the OCA mission church in Annapolis--Holy Archangels Orthodox Church. He has acted as sponsor/godparent for both students and faculty on their journey to Christ and His holy Church and meets regularly with those inquiring into the Orthodox Faith. In addition to meeting regularly with students individually, he also leads weekly Vespers services and studies in the Orthodox Faith at both campuses.
