December 2005 Newsletter

Christ is born! Glorify Him! Last month I shared the good news with you that Cooper, Erica, and Harrison had become catechumens through this ministry. This month we have another new catechumen, John Peterson. John is a St. John’s College alumnus who has remained to work in Annapolis. In addition to meeting with me weekly throughout these past months, John has been an active participant in the ministry’s weekly Vespers services and studies in the Orthodox Faith. More quickly than most, he has surrendered himself to the love of God and found his home in the Orthodox Church.

On December 14, the ministry hosted an Advent Paraklesis and open house at St. John’s, which was well attended by the students even though it was one of the coldest days of the winter. Afterwards, John, Erica and Cooper shared with those who attended how God has been working in their lives through the ministry.
